Rudolph LLC has a wide range of swiss machine tools to pair with your component requirements:
Precision machine tools, applied precisely.
Citizen L12 Swiss Turning Center
Citizen's newest generation L12 machine was installed at Rudolph LLC in November 2014.
This machine provides superior flexibility using live back working tools, the ability to run the machine in "chucker" mode as well as the integrated CAV barloader.
Rudolph LLC has installed a 10 line High Pressure Coolant system to aid in chip control on difficult to machine materials such as 316 stainless steel.
Citizen R04 Swiss Turning Center
When producing micro components, nothing is more important than consistency of the machining process. The Citizen R04 maintains world-class consistency of turned diameters and allows ultra-fine sub-micron adjustments. The R04's sub-spindle allows complex parts to be made easily.
Processing of stainless steel and titanium micro-components are the norm for this machine. The machine is capable of machining bar stock as small as .030 inches (0.7mm) and as large as .157 inches (4mm).
Citizen A20 Type 7 Swiss Turning Center
Components sometimes require highly flexible tooling layouts to achieve critical part features. Rudolph LLC uses the A20's flexibility to add additional tools that would otherwise not be possible. Often high-frequency spindles are required to add off-center features. The A20 allows sub-micron adjustments when critical tolerances are required.
Our A20 is outfitted with 4 live "cross-working" tools and up to 4 live "axial" tools. We've achieve wall thicknesses of as small as .0015" using these tools and our proprietary techniques.
Inspection Tools
Rudolph LLC understands how tolerances become tighter as parts get smaller. All parts are inspected using our RAM Optical Starlite Inspection system and other calibrated instruments.
The Starlite system has magnification up to 150x and multiple light sources to light critical part features.
